How many active members do we have left? 4? Everyone is slowly leaving, and soon we would all be separated.
I'm not suggesting D(olphin)-Day 2: Sons of Liberty, but something more peaceful and non-disruptive. Maybe we can go to another site, maybe make that game or comic we were talking about, or maybe some other idea. I don't know, I just don't want us all to leave each other.

Honestly, I think the best option would be to join Something Awful.
It costs money to join, but we would be able to keep the same style of topics we've had on this forum, and we sure as hell would have some new people to talk to.

Yes. At this juncture we have four options:
1) Abandon it altogether. Leave and never look back. For the sake of this discussion, let us assume that this is not a possible route to take.
2) Keep on as is. Just making UAs, art, and random posts as we are now. Again, as this is the state of affairs we are seeking a solution to let us assume that this is not a valid choice.
3) Migrate to another forum. This rather popular choice would allow us to keep in touch and communicate without needing to maintain this place.
4) Repair our current forum. This would presumably be accomplished by drawing in new members. This would be the most difficult, but potentially the most rewarding, as it would allow us to stay in contact through a forum more specifically suited to us.
As path 4 requires more in-depth thought and planning I will make a followup post focusing on it when I have time later.

Plan 5: Do what the dinosaurs did. They seemed like knew what they were doing.

I think we should try that comic. We never really got anywhere with it, and we still can make it happen. It is completely within our reach as well, seeing as there are some talented artists on this forum.
Though if anything, we could definitely improve on the plot.

Done. Write it. Put it in a book. Call it Malnutrition Games. Make a movie starring attractive teenage actors. Make all the money.

What was the comic/plot idea again? I've honestly forgotten. :/

So have I? What comic? But if you need me to do anything for it on it, just ask

There was a comic idea. Basic plot was magic vs technology (sounds a lot like Gunnerkrigg the more I think about it). There was a war as well, but the story takes place years after. There were two different teams of 7 people. One team consisted of Wolfe, Pemi, me, 2Hats, CMP, Funky, and Fload. The other consisted of Fallout, Aqua, Viempth, Zilth, Gizmo, Pudding, and Moltrox.
That's all I can remember.

Okay, so, we should start brainstorming ideas for this, because as it is we have only a basic premise. We need a focus and progression, ect. Those are most important probably. Also, we will be seriously constricted by using characters based on certain people/avatars. Because we are going in with preset ideas for the characters, we will be forced to bend the plot, setting, ect. around them. This is probably a disadvantage. But the most important thing to do first is to have an actual core idea to build off of properly. Brb going to a play (will take a long time not actually going to brb more like bbilfh)
I have a bunch of ideas but am incapable of finding the words to convey them in so for now I will say nothing.
Edit: Brainstorming
So one of the things that stands out to me, apart from vague notes about magic vs tech (whatever that means in practice) is that apparently there was some idea of a wish reward? Which, coupled with a large cast with very different motivations... It seems pretty clear that, instead of being split into two teams, the characters should act mostly individually, with some (probably temporary) team-ups here and there. Permanent allies would be rare. Everyone would seek to obtain the wish for themselves, and so conflicts would be common. Personally, I also like the idea that the trial is a sort of 'game', with the characters being the 'contestants'. Whatever that would actually mean. I have some vague ideas that are basically Paper Mario + Okami + Zelda + Twenty-Five + Homestuck + A bit of some other things...
More later I guess

I am in love. We can all create our own characters, each with their own personalities and backstories. I can also imagine a bunch of higher ups constantly watching the contestants, and maybe even helping out those they favor.
I can get started by making some characters!

Also I've started drawing this weird fantasy world that I can try to draw digitally later if you want to see. It is spiral based w/ lots of waterfalls. Sort of hard to explain without a visual representation.
But yeah before we start making characters we need to at least decide on the world and its rules more firmly. If this will be some kind of cosmic 'game', then it is especially important here because the setting's rules will largely determine plot flow.
Also it would be difficult to make characters if they don't fit into any universe. basic premise needs to be a thing, too. Honestly we have nothing concrete right now.
