Not an evolution, but an entirely new thing called a Mega Evolution. Don't know the exact details of it, but it is not new evolutions.

Like I said: a long time ago.  But in all seriousness, it's not really a comment about the designs so much as the games themselves. Graphically, superficially, the games have changed a lot since the first generation, but at their core, very little has changed. Sure, they've done a lot with the games outside the core games (I always had fond memories of the mystery dungeon series) but the core games themselves are always the same. And maybe that's the point, for the core games to be an abhor for the really interesting games to branch off from, but it's just not enough to keep me hooked. Nowwhat we really need is an official, open-world Pokemon MMO... |
