This will be sorta our main thread for discussing this. I will be updating this main text post as we come up with ideas.
Title: ? ? ?
Plot: We have several different universes or dimensions, each with a God watching over each. Eventually some huge Grand God comes along and takes over all of the dimensions, leaving the previous Gods in the dust. (S)He decides to start a game with the inhabitants of the dimensions, and see which ones are the most worthy. He gathers a different person from each dimension, and throws them all in a video game-like world the Grand God has created. No one knows the repercussions of losing. Their main objective is to be the one with the most McMuffins (placeholder name for collectible. I'm thinking they should be called "Chalices", and be several different types of cups) in the end of every 'round' of the game. A round is a group of several different challenges, ranging from Free-for-All deathmatches, to race to the the finish, to BREAK THE TARGETS. Whoever wins a challenge is rewarded a McMuffin, and the dimensions with the lowest amount of McMuffins (halving the amount) at end of a round are eliminated from the competition. With elimination, costs the combatant their life, as well as their dimension getting erased. People get eliminated one by one, until eventually there will be a victor. The victor will be promised throughout the story a free wish. Whatever they want. This is what drives our combatants forward and try to win the competition. We will learn of each character's wish as the story continues. Sometimes, instead of generating a challenge within the virtual world, they will be teleported to one of the existing dimensions. No one can die in any of the challenges. Instead, they will be simply beamed out of harms way and appear in some lobby elsewhere, waiting for the next challenge. This will be called a "Game Over" by the Grand God. If one gets a Game Over, they automatically lose the challenge. They might also be able to find some extra McMuffins that aren't rewarded to them at the end of a challenge. This will give some of the biggest losers a fighting chance at winning if they are good at finding bonus McMuffins. We will have only 1-3 important protagonists, and the rest of the characters will either be antagonists, or side characters. There are thousands of different worlds, and characters from these worlds will either be members of the forum, UA/RP characters, or just characters made up for the sake of the story.
