It's back! And there is no reviews... Yet.
I put up a poll for you to choose what games you guys want me to do next (since I can't trust you guys on requests), and I will reviewing the game with the most votes. After a a review, I will leave those same options up except for the one just reviewed, and make a new option. So guys, what game will it be?
PS: Since all the older reviews are gone, I might be remaking them in the future.

Alright, here it is, here is my first review on the new site.
Game: Castle Crashers Genre: Beat ‘em up, RPG Systems: Xbox360, PS3, PC Developer: The Behemoth ESRB: T for Teen
This game is fucking awesome. Seriously, it’s fucking amazing. I will go gay for Tom Fulp, except not really… I mean it was pretty good.
Castle Crashers is about 4 knights, that ventures far to save 4 princesses from the evil wizard and other smaller villains. … OSCAR NOMINATED STORY, RIGHT HERE FOLKS!
The gameplay is very similar to older arcade bet ‘em ups, similar to Golden Axe and Turtles in Time. Basically you go from left to right, hacking and slashing your way through anything that’s in your path. It can get pretty fun with 4 players at the same time. Your attacks mainly consist of light attacks, heavy attacks, magic, and items. Light and heavy attacks are pretty self explanatory. Magic is probably one of my favorite things to use. Every character you can play as has different magic, some with different effects such as poisoning and freezing. Items include potions to restore all your health (you are gonna need plenty of these), Bow + Arrows for a ranged attack that is not magic, sandwiches to turn into a monstrous hulking beast, and other things. Throughout the game, you can come across weapons and animal orbs. Weapons modify your stats: Attack, Magic, Defense, and Speed. Weapons may also have a special modifier such as higher chance of critical hit. Animal orbs are little animals that follow you along. They can go from affecting your stats to finding hidden items. You gain experience points from hitting enemies. Once you gain enough, you gain a level and you can boost a stat of yours. This game can get very hard, so it will probably be best if you play with 4 people to ease up the difficulty a bit (though I managed to be the game just by myself).
The music is pure bliss. I could sit down and listen to the entire soundtrack for hours. Some tracks that stand out has to be:
The Main Theme
Snow World
And The Forest Entrance
This game has quite a bit of bosses, all of them feeling pretty different. Some of them are just… There (Troll Breeder, Pipistrello), some are very fun to fight (Barbarian boss, Cyclops, Conehead Groom), and some are just annoying (Rain Dancer, Medusa). The final boss also feels like I drags on longer than it should, with an ungodly amount of forms.
The art design is pretty creative, and really makes this game different. It is funny, stylish, and colorful. Every entity is a 2D sprite, allowing for some… Irritating moments… RANT AWAY! Since everything is 2D, in a virtually 3D world, I come to some points that I think is a pretty bad hindsight. I tend to find myself having a hard time actually attacking my enemies, for they are slightly more towards the screen than I am, or slightly farther from the screen. This may not sound very annoying… Until you fight Medusa. Medusa’s movement is very erratic, moving back and forth, getting closer and farther from the screen. You either tend to find yourself stuck behind her, or just plainly missing her. Doesn’t help since she attacks you when in close range… Either side of her… RANT END!
So…. My final verdict of the game? 4/5 Jars of Honey Very fun game, I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of arcade beat ‘em ups. Has some bad qualities, but overall a great game.
