Let me tell you about a show called Steven Universe Steven Universe is a Cartoon Network series that airs on Thursdays. It had its season one finale just this thursday (ep 48/49), and it was awesome. Everything about this show is great. The music, the really well-developed characters, the acting, the scenery, the worldbuilding and plot...
Please watch Steven Universe. The first few episodes are a little shaky? But it doesn't take long to really find itself and it gets SO GOOD. It might even make you feel an emotion! Seriously though its really great do yourself a favor and check it out.

It's been on my list for a while now. Then again, I also haven't made any progress on my list in quite a while, either. :<

This show is adorable and its soundtrack is amazing. It has a bit of a slow start, but the quality dramatically improves once plot begins to happen. A lot of the early stuff may seem dumb, but its basically meant to set up later things.

Also, each episode is only about 11:30 long, so it doesn't have to be a huge time investment to watch a few here and there.

I watched it. It was beautiful. I really love how optimistic the show continues to be, even when they tread into darker or more mature subject matter, they don't stay on it for long before some ray of positivity shines through. Also, who's everyone's favorite Gem?

I'm really glad you liked it! That's honestly one of my favorite things about it, too. It always manages to stay optimistic, even when dealing with really heavy emotional stuff or interstellar war. As for favorite Gem... mine is probably Garnet. She's just so great all the time.

Yeah, my sister really likes Garnet. Mine was originally Amethyst but I think I'e settled on Pearl because she just tries sooooooooooo hard to be a good person, even if sometimes she messes up. :3
But then again, how about Lapis...

My favorite is probably Pearl, but Jasper is close competition as I really like her character design.
I'll readily acknowledge that Garnet is the best though, even if she isn't my favorite.

I don't really so much 'like' the characters, as just 'enjoy' them. Their interactions with one other, mind, are intriguing, but they're not really the type of person i would ever hang out with.

So what how about Stevenbomb 2.0? How about the new intro?? I LOVE it, personally. The gems are a lot more expressive and feel a lot more unified and harmonious in it, and I think that really fits the new era of the show. It also includes not only their new designs but also all the characters who've become important since the start of the show, which is really neat. Plus, Connie has Rose's sword in it.
I'm so excited for the last two episodes, it's been so good so far. Everything about Sworn to the Sword was fantastic, Rising Tides/Crashing Skies was hilarious, and todays episode Keeping it Together was... just so good. I'm really looking forward to Connie having a bigger role in the story from now on, which everything seems to be hinting towards. She's one of my favorites! I'm also really hoping that we get to see Stevonnie again soon, now that Steven can consistently summon his shield and Connie is trained in sword-fighting. Maybe they can even ride lion into battle as their noble steed.
I really wonder what will happen now after Keeping it Together? I highly doubt this is the last we'll see or speak of Peridot's 'experiments'...
