When it comes to animation, I think I'm "ok" at best. And I've noticed that I really suck at animating running in the past, so I watched a few animations of people running, and then made this short 2 second looping animation based off what I picked up. If you guys have any tips or advice for me, please tell me.

It's pretty good! There are two main ways in which I think you could improve it. The first would be to complete the range of motion. As it is, the run seems very... constrained, I guess? The legs should go back farther, and extend more. The second thing would be to give it a little more weight. Right now the running feels very floaty. I can't really describe it well, but when you run you impact against the ground and sort of press down before springing back up as you move forwards. Your body reacts to the forces pressing against the ground and back off. To make both of those improvements I recommend watching lots of videos of running and looking at still shots of people at various points in a step. Just keep practicing and you can make this really good!
