Sorry for not posting the rest of the story, I had to do a bunch of stuff today.
Basically, Freeboards is merging all forums into mega boards for singular interests, so now instead of having half a billion Homestuck and Anime Boards, there's only one.
Unfortunately, since we're the only one of our kind, we're either getting moved into a "Web Comic" Macroboard, or deleted entirely.
Either way, it's going to suck.

So, would it be a board merged from a bunch of minor comics, or would there be communities from big ones too? Because I could see the former kinda working out in our favor somewhat (though it would still suck for a little while at least), but the latter would definitely kill us.

The problem is that we technically are a more "off-topic" board than a WDYD board. We would have a lot more restrictions on what we can do.
