You are suddenly the other girl... five hours into the past. You are now the gorgeous Donella Edison. As heir to the illustrious and far-reaching Aeon Corporation, you have many important duties to fulfill. These include attending meetings with your father, ordering servants about, and looking abso- lutely stunning. Heavy is the crown. When not suffering under the weight of noble obligation, you enjoy sculpture and dredging up ancient, musty tomes to uncover dark secrets and ancient diagrams left sealed for thousands of years to protect foolish mortal eyes from unleashing their terrible knowledge unto the world. You also like to go shopping sometimes. Up to a few seconds ago you were lounging about on your bed, waiting for something to happen, until just now when you suddenly felt empowered to make some meaningful life choices! ..for some reason. But what will you do exactly?

It's actually a rather new piece, a reproduction of an original found in the tower's gallery. It seemed to have connections to several manuscripts you'd found, so you ordered a copy to hang in your room. The shattered moon... since then, you've noticed just how common references to it are. It shows up in everything, regardless of time period. It follows you everywhere, your life filled with its mystery. You WILL solve it. Perhaps later today you'll recheck some of the related tomes you've stashed in your room... Must think of a different trend for this person... I know! Lick the picture. It sure is great that you found this new sense of agency and all! How else could you make rational and meaningful choices like this one. {{With all the robbing you wanted to do with Eve, you'll have loads of fun playing a Rogue...}}

Lick the flashing brown text. Wha... what are you doing??? It seems that you do not posses the meta awareness to acknowledge the brown text's existence! Examine the rectangles on the wall behind the bedpost. There appears to be a piece of paper taped to your wall. Who put that there? How did they do it without being noticed? Blank. It's blank. Why is this here? Maybe Aeron did it?? oh HELLS no

Lick the edge of the paper. Paper cuts on your tongue equal the most intelligence. Licking this filth is simply out of the question, no matter what the voices in your head which you aren't directly cognizant of tell you to do. This is the logo of the Four Corners, the only real rival to Aeon Corporation. Who put this here? Are they taunting you!? Argh! You hate those slimy bastards so much!Nobody even knows what their deal is, really. They're just there. And rich, and shady, and influential. And stopping your family from having a complete monopoly. They're probably part of a global conspiracy, too, just you watch. At a glance, neither box seems to have any easy means of entry. Even if you can't discover the contents, however, you can at least try to determine the properties of them. You decide to investigate the smaller box first. Despite being made from some type of metal, it is extraordinarily light. You can't hear anything when you shake the box, either. Continuing your inspection, you find that the side which was previously facing the wall has some form of locking mechanism on it. Presumably, unlocking it will open the box, although there don't seem to be any obvious hinges or other means of entry anywhere on the surface. The wooden box, on the other hand, is far too heavy to move. Opening this one will likely require ordinary tools, and of course somebody stronger than you to use them.

Use your tongue as a makeshift lockpick to open the metal box.
Lick the keyhole.
