www.nintendo.com/3ds/new/I for one don't hate the idea because I see what they are trying to do. But I won't buy one due to already owning a 3ds. The design of it is pretty bad though... Thoughts?

Too save costs the screens are actually just one big touchscreen, so that's something.

I actually in favor of this. I already own a 3DS, so I ain't getting one, but this is genius. This thing comes out on the same day as Pokemon X and Y, which is a series mainly marketed towards children. Since kids under the age of 7 can't play a normal 3DS, they miss out. But since they took out the 3D, it allows the younger kids to play their Pokeymans. The lack of hinge is also good in a way. It makes it so much more durable because the hinges on past DS systems, making it more childproof. The price is also very good. The parents don't have to pay as much since it's so much more affordable, and they can spend their money on other, more important things.
Props to you Nintendo. You are a bunch of geniuses.
