WOW. I just binged the entire archive. And I have to say you were totally right. The characters and art are just really good, but honestly I love the plot structure itself. The author is really good at keeping the right pace of questions and answers, and the way the multiple different plots and characters converge together is really well pulled off!

Dang, you read fast. It took me a couple days to get through it. The author strikes an incredible balance between action and exposition, holding off on explanations until they makes narrative sense, and don't interrupt the flow of the story. And I really appreciate that she does put faith in the readers to pick up details as we go along, and not assuming that we need to be told absolutely everything. Which is a bit of fresh air for me, since I've been watching a lot of anime recently, and, well, most of them do exactly that, with maybe one part action to 5 parts exposition. Cultural difference? And I really like that there aren't many purely despicable characters, that almost everyone has complex reasons for doing what they do, even minor ones, or have some other way of making up for it.
