If one were to create an adventure in which each participating forum member created their own character, but updates were handled like a UA, where would it go?
Like, say Member A makes character Y and Member B makes character X. They control their characters by saying X: do that and Y: do this. The creator of the adventure then posts an image of all characters doing their actions. So the role-playing is completely in reaction to the creator's posts instead of eachothers? How would that even work? What would it be classified as?
Or like if everybody could make a character who was then controlled by everyone like a UA character but the original maker of the character had final say in whether their character would actually do which of those actions (updates being in UA style)?
What about other mixes of roleplay/UA mechanics? Just trying to figure out the distinctions between the two here.

I think it would fall under UA.

If the narrative is done primarily in the form of a UA then it'd be a UA.
