 BOOM.  You are now...  Aeron. In the past, again.  You have absolutely no clue what just happened. Donna's dad showed up out of nowhere, told you to take Donna and run, and dumped you outside with his weird tentacle shit. Next thing you know everything's shaking and the castlab 1 starts shooting rainbows and glow-y shit everywhere. Now, it's a giant fancy tower. You aren't sure if Mr. Edison or anyone else who was in there is even still alive. But you can't begin to do anything about whatever's going down. What you can do is fulfill your duty to Mr. Edison and his daughter. Donna appeared outside shortly after you did (by the same method), and you are taking her and hiking through the woods to the nearby town. Once you're there, you can maybe start figuring out where this leaves you. Until then, all you can do is walk. And hope.  Aeron: If we hurry, we can get there within the hour!Donna keeps looking back. She hasn't said much of anything since you both started on your way. As far as you both know, her dad just died. You've been trying to just keep focused on getting to town, and leave the discussion of the events for when you're both safe, but... Could you even do or say anything that would help her right now? You're basically sisters, and you always try to be there for her... what could you do? ----- 1: It is a castle, and a laboratory, at the same time! Castle + lab= Castlab |

 You'd love to, but there's no point in setting a pace that you can't keep. Besides, you have to consider Donna. She's an heiress, not a knight, and doesn't have nearly your physical stamina. As the sole heir to both a large and resource-rich province and a wealthy multinational corporation, Donnela Edison is twice the target. As is traditional you were selected and raised from an early age to be Donna's personal guard. More than anyone else you are responsible for her safety and well-being. It's much more than coldly professional, and you do more than protect her from physical threats. You're her confidante and advisor, you protect and provide for her emotionally, and when you really can't stop her from doing something dangerous you at least tag along to keep her safe.  Even if she's the one with the social standing, you two have always shared everything. After growing up together for most of your lives, you think you'd best describe her as a younger sibling. |
